TEX BD Training Center (TBTC) and Global Information and Technology (GIT) jointly organized a Career Counseling and Rag Day - 2018 program on 25 April 2018 for the outgoing students of Different Diploma Institutions. Prime University provided the logistic support by giving the venue. The occasion was divided into two parts. First part, the discussion and crest giving session was chaired by the Chairman of TBTC and GIT, Engr Sayfullah Al Mamun. Respected Vice Chairman of Board of Trustees of Prime University, Nripen Maitra graced the session as the Guest of Honor while Prof Engr Dr M Abdus Sobhan, Vice Chancellor of Prime University was there as the Chief Guest. Prof Dr Abdur Rahaman, respected Dean, Faculty of Law and Head of Business Administration, Md Abu Zaman, respected Head of CSE Department, Md Mostak Ahmed, respected Head of EEE Department, Prime University and Engr Md Abu Darda Mali, Head of the Department of Electronics Technology, Bhola Polytechnic Institute were present there as the Special Guests. Shuvodip Das, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE of Prime University presented his paper on Career Opportunity of Diploma graduates and Importance of Higher Studies. Masud Alam Rubel, Coordinator of GIT proclaimed the entire program. Engr Sayfullah Al Mamum in his welcome speech welcomed the students of 8th semester and conveyed his gratitude to the guests for their gracious presence. Mr Abu Zaman and Mr Mostak Ahmed, Head of CSE and EEE Department of Prime University respectively urged the outgoing students to pursue higher education for their prosperous future. They also introduced different unique features of Prime University. Moreover, Prof Dr Abdur Rahman in an amicable manner made the budding students comprehend about the various aspects of life and importance of pursuing bachelor degree from a reputed university that will ensure quality education. Afterwards, respected Guest of Honor, Chief Guest and Special Guests presented crests to toper students of the batches and handed over certificates to all the students upon successful completion of 3 months course. Engr Prof Dr M Abdus Sobhan encouraged the students to work hard and not make excuses about study. He said that difficulties are the part of life but success touches the feet of those who show courage, confidence and dedication towards their work. Organizing authority handed over the crest to the respected guests. Guest of Honor, Nripen Maitra in his speech congratulated the students and hoped that they will establish themselves in their respective career and achieve reputation in the engineering sector. After the discussion session, a brief cultural program was held where students enjoyed themselves. After the cultural program, organizing authority distributed refreshment packets among the students and guests of the program. The program venue was abuzz with the excitement and enthusiasm of outgoing students. It was a day of thrill and great fiesta to everyone especially for the leaving students.
