Report on Mock Trial
Mock trial is a simulation of real trial where the students take part. It involves witness testimony with statements and arguments. It stimulates the trial level proceeding. The Department of Law of Prime University devotes its utmost sincere effort to involve the law students in advocacy practices with a view to building up their persuasive legal skills. In line with the effort, on Tuesday, the 15th January, 2019 a mock trial was organized at the department by the students of 38th batch for the partial completion of their Clinical Legal Education (LLB-432) course of Fall Semester-2018. Mr. Golam Sarowar, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department along with the students endeavored throughout the semester for holding the trial successfully. Syed Mohammad Rezwanul Islam, Lecturer of the Department played the role of the Judge. Al-hajj Mir Shahabuddin, the respected Chairman of BOT, Prime University, Professor Dr. M A Sobhan, the respected Vice-Chancellor, Prime University and Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alom, Dean, Faculty of Law was presented in the mock trial.
