Professor Dr. Noor Mohammad achieved his LL.B (Honours), LL.M and CLEP (Clinical Legal Education Program) from the Faculty of Law, University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also obtained his PhD in Law specializing in the Environmental Law and Policy: A Study on Agriculture and Fisheries in Bangladesh
at the Institute of Bangladesh Studies, University of Rajshahi.
Currently, Dr. Mohammad has been serving as a Professor and Dean, Faculty of Law at the Prime University, Dhaka.
Since 1 June 2016 until now, Prof. Dr. Noor Mohammad has been as Professor of Law in the different Law Schools in Bangladesh. In the meantime, he has also served in the different Law Schools as Visiting Senior Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at the University of Malaya (UM), Multimedia University Melaka Campus in Malaysia, National University of Malaysia (UKM) and Royal University for Women in Bahrain respectively.
He also served as an Adjunct Full Professor in the Department of Maritime Law and Policy at the Bangladesh Maritime University, Dhaka along with other notable private universities in Bangladesh with a senior management responsibility such as the Head of the Department of Law and Head of Research Groups, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, University Committee Members such as Journal Review Committee, Quality Assurance Cell, Research Centre Review Committee, Anti-Terrorism Cell, Sexual Harassment Committee, University Disciplinary Committee, Academic Council, Syndicate, Senate, Anti
Ragging Committee, ACR Committee, Investigation Committee etc; with a financial and project management responsibility.
In the meantime, he has also produced around 200 publications including journals, books, conference proceedings, book chapters, monographs etc; focusing on ISI, Scopus with a wide range of professional bodies around the world based on research projects at the national and international levels. He has completed some important research projects at the Social Science Research Council, Ministry of Planning, Dhaka, Malaysia and some university research projects etc.
